Privacy Policy

1. Service and contact

FORENSICA is operated by Ekoland Europe s.r.o., U Zvonařky 2536/1A, 120 00 Prague 2, Czech Republic, through forensicalabs.com. For privacy questions, access questions, deletion requests, or security reports, contact support@forensicalabs.com.

2. Text selected for analysis

FORENSICA processes only the passage that the user explicitly selects and submits for analysis in Google Docs™. The selected passage is sent to FORENSICA’s analysis service to generate the requested metrics, explanations, and report output.

The rest of the document is not included in that analysis request.

3. Information processed

• the selected document passage submitted for analysis;
• the generated metrics, explanations, and report content;
• the user’s account email or identifier and basic profile information made available through Google LLC’s authorization flow, used only as needed to provide account-level access, unit accounting, archive continuity, and support;
• the current FORENSICA profile and available unit balance;
• where paid functionality is used, commerce and billing identifiers, entitlement status, transaction or subscription status, billing-country or tax-related status, and related records needed to operate checkout, paid access, billing support, and reconciliation;
• archive connection settings and report metadata;
• technical events needed to operate, secure, maintain, and support the service.

4. Analysis processing

FORENSICA uses Apps Script and Google Cloud™ services to deliver the add-on workflow. The selected passage is processed by FORENSICA’s service on Google Cloud™ and by the Google AI™ service used for the active FORENSICA profile. The generated result is returned to the add-on for display and report creation.

FORENSICA uses this information only to provide and support the user-requested product workflow.

5. Report Archive and source context

After a successful analysis, FORENSICA stores the report in the user’s configured Google Drive™ archive workspace. The archived record contains the exact selected source passage, the source character count, a SHA-256 source-integrity value, the generated analysis, the report timestamp, and related provenance needed to open and render the report later.

Archive list rows display a bounded report title, timestamp, and Framing value. The complete selected source remains inside the archived report record rather than the archive list.

Later edits to the original document in Google Docs™ do not alter the source snapshot stored with that archived analysis.

6. Append Report and Export Report

Append Report adds a complete report to the active document in Google Docs™. Export Report creates a separate readable document in Google Docs™ in the configured report workspace. Both report forms may include source metadata, a bounded source preview, the complete selected source in Appendix A, the generated analysis, and the complete guide for reading the three indices.

7. Storage, retention, and deletion

Archived and exported reports remain in the user’s Google Drive™ environment until the user deletes or moves them. Users can manage and delete those files through Google Drive™.

FORENSICA retains account-level configuration, current profile, unit balance, archive connection state, and related operational records for as long as needed to provide and support the service. Routine operational logging is designed around technical and content-free events and is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for service operation, security, and support.

Users may request deletion of account-level FORENSICA records by contacting support@forensicalabs.com. Limited records may be retained where reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal obligations, or dispute resolution.

8. User control

• Users choose the passage submitted for each analysis.
• Users can delete archived or exported reports from Google Drive™.
• Users can change or reconnect the archive workspace through FORENSICA settings where that option is available.
• Users can uninstall the add-on through their Google Workspace™ account.
• Users can contact support to request access to or deletion of account-level FORENSICA records, or assistance with testing access.

9. Sharing, transfer, and service providers

FORENSICA transfers selected text and related request data only to service providers needed to provide the user-facing functionality requested by the user. The current analysis and reporting workflow uses services from Google LLC, including Google Docs™, Google Drive™, Apps Script, Google Cloud™, and Google AI™ processing. These transfers occur only as necessary for user-initiated analysis, reporting, service operation, security, and support, under the providers’ applicable terms.

When a user accesses paid checkout or billing functionality, payment and billing processing is provided by Stripe. Payment-card details entered into Stripe-hosted payment interfaces are handled by Stripe and are not stored by FORENSICA. FORENSICA receives the identifiers and status information needed to create and reconcile checkout, maintain paid entitlements, support billing and tax workflows, and provide billing-management controls.

FORENSICA does not sell or rent user data received through services provided by Google LLC. FORENSICA does not transfer or disclose such user data to advertising platforms, data brokers, or information resellers, and does not use such user data for advertising, retargeting, credit-worthiness, or lending purposes.

10. AI and machine-learning use

Google Workspace™ API data, including selected text and data derived from it, is not used by FORENSICA to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models. FORENSICA does not transfer Google Workspace™ API data to service providers for those purposes.

AI processing is used only to generate the user-requested FORENSICA analysis and related report content.

11. Security and data protection

FORENSICA uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the service, including authenticated services provided by Google LLC, access controls, and limiting data handling to the systems and service components required for the requested workflow. Report files stored in Google Drive™ remain subject to the user’s Google Drive™ permissions and controls.

No method of electronic processing or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should consider the sensitivity of material before submitting it for analysis.

12. API user-data policies

FORENSICA’s use of information received from Google Workspace™ APIs adheres to the Google Workspace™ API User Data and Developer Policy and the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Google Docs™, Google Drive™, Google Workspace™, Google Cloud™, and Google AI™ are trademarks of Google LLC.

13. Sensitive and confidential material

Users should submit only material they are authorized to use and should consider the sensitivity of a selected passage before starting an analysis. The user remains responsible for deciding which content is appropriate for the requested workflow.

14. Commercial and payment processing

SCOUT remains available at no charge. LOGIC, TRACE, and STRAT are available as recurring paid subscriptions.

Payment processing is provided by Stripe. FORENSICA processes the commerce, entitlement, billing-status, subscription-status, and tax-related records needed to operate and reconcile paid access, while payment-card details entered into Stripe-hosted payment interfaces are handled by Stripe rather than stored by FORENSICA.

15. Changes to this policy

FORENSICA may update this policy as the service develops. The published page will show the effective date of the current version.
