Privacy Policy
This page explains how FORENSICA handles data in the current Google Docs add-on and payment-deferred launch posture.
What FORENSICA is
FORENSICA is a Google Docs add-on for structured narrative and framing analysis. It helps users analyze selected text and produce report-ready insights inside a document workflow.
Selected text submitted for analysis
Users choose what document text to analyze. FORENSICA processes the selected text submitted by the user in order to provide the requested analysis, metrics, and report output.
Data we may process
- selected document text submitted for analysis;
- analysis outputs generated from that text;
- basic account or access identifiers needed to provide access, usage accounting, support, security, or abuse prevention;
- usage-unit, plan, and subscription-state information;
- archive, history, or saved-report records where those features are used;
- technical logs needed for reliability, debugging, security, and abuse prevention.
Generated analysis outputs
FORENSICA may generate structured analysis results, narrative metrics, observations, report text, and related output based on selected text. These outputs may be shown in the add-on, appended to a document, saved, exported, or included in history/archive features depending on the user’s chosen workflow and product configuration.
Google Docs add-on context
FORENSICA operates in the context of Google Docs and uses the permissions required for the add-on workflow. Users remain responsible for choosing what text to submit for analysis.
Archive, history, and report storage
FORENSICA may provide analysis history, export, or archive features where available. Saved reports and archive records may include analysis output, selected-text previews, timestamps, and related metadata needed to retrieve or display prior analyses.
Payment processing boundary
When paid subscriptions or purchases are offered, payments are handled externally through Stripe-hosted checkout or another authorized payment-management flow. FORENSICA does not collect or store full payment card numbers inside the Google Docs add-on.
Third-party infrastructure and processing
FORENSICA may rely on third-party infrastructure providers, including Google services for the add-on environment and external payment providers such as Stripe for billing when paid plans are offered. Third-party services are used only as needed to provide the service, process user-requested analysis, handle billing, maintain reliability, support users, prevent abuse, or comply with legal or security obligations.
No sale of user data
FORENSICA does not sell user data.
Sensitive information caution
Users should avoid submitting sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for their own use of the analysis feature. Users are responsible for ensuring that they have the right to analyze any selected text they submit.
